Chris Murdoch

Chris began his consulting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he built and led the strategy practice for Australia and New Zealand advising blue-chip technology and distribution clients across Asia.
Now widely considered an authority in international development, impact investment, microfinance and livelihood development, Chris has overseen the design and management of microfinance, health and development programs in India, the Philippines, Indonesia and China at Opportunity International Australia where he worked from 2006. Having helped establish Opportunity International's India program, he then led work around mobile banking and the distribution of health, education, water and energy services to clients and was also the Global Chief Strategist. Previously, Chris was an Associate Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Global Business Services.
Chris has extensive experience managing and structuring complex investment deals across several developing economies, particularly Indonesia, India and the Philippines.
In 2020, Chris joined Good Foundations advising clients on strategy, programs development and management including project management and impact investing.
